El astro mas celebrado de toda Asia, Rain, volará a Los Angeles la proxima semana para asistir a los MTV Movie Awards.
Un representante de J Tune Entertainment dijo: "Rain saldrá de Corea el 3 de Junio para asistir a los MTV Movie Awards 2010, ya que a recibido una invitacion por parte de los organizadores del evento."
El actor y cantante está nominado en la categoría de "Biggest Badass Star", por su papel en "Ninja Asesino" del año pasado, junto con actores como Angelina Jolie, Channing Tatum, Chris Pine y Sam Worthington.
Los nominados fueron seleccionados por los fans a traves de internet en la pagina oficial del evento, Rain quedó entre los 5 mas votados de 22 potenciales nominados.
Rain cuyo nombre real es Jung Ji-hoon, ha lanzado 6 albums hasta la fecha y muchos concierto al rededor de toda Asia y en los Estados Unidos agotó las entradas para el Madison Square Garden.
Rain hiso su debut en Holywood en el 2008 a travez de la película de los hermanos Wachowski "Speed Racer", El actor dió tan buena impresion a los hermanos que le ofrecieron el papel principal en la película de artes maciales "Ninja Asesino"
